Organisational change in HR/user engagement for new system implementation or ‘Ensuring the key people want a new system and will use it’
In some ways choosing a new system is the easy part.
It may be a lenghty process and at times frustrating but to an extent all that its delivering is the solution which meets your current, and future requirements, which will assist with providing a better service to clients and stakeholders giving a good ROI and added value.
But no matter how good the procurement and implementation process is unless the HR and/or Payroll teams, and the other users, see ‘what’s in it for me’: understanding how it can make a difference and at the same time how they are integral to making that difference it can only be a good implementation and solution as oppposed to a succesful one.
During this session we’ll discuss:
- Who are the various stake holders
- How to deliver the clear messages of ‘what’s in it for me’
- Demonstrating the benefits to them as well as the clients
- How to enage the HR and Payroll teams in the delivery process
- How to sustain that engagment beyond go live
- How to embed change in the every day environment
About Yvette Lamidey
Director and founder of Paris and Parks Consultancy and Free2Change
Having worked in a range of Payroll related roles across various private and public sector organisations including Group Compensation Manager at WH Smith Yvette set up her own consultancy business working with organisations to identify and implement changes that will deliver value from their Payroll, HR Admin and Expenses and Benefits functions.
This can range from a health check through to advice and guidance on processes and strategy or assisting with the procurement and implementation of a new system/solution.
For each of the clients that Paris and Parks have worked with finding ways of engaging not only the key stakeholders but also the users of the services has been key. This engagement has to be sustainable and something that can be achieved by the organisation whilst at the same time delivering added value.
Invariably this will include an element of coaching or mentoring at individual level and for teams.
